Google Drive import questions
Which file types can I import from Google Drive?
You can import images and videos, including formats like JPG, PNG, GIF, MP4, and MOV, or any file type supported by Google's file picker for the media types Minopa accepts.
Do my original files stay in Google Drive after I import them?
Yes. Minopa downloads a copy into your workspace media library; the original file is never moved or deleted from your Google Drive.
Can I import whole folders at once, or only single files?
Google's native picker lets you navigate into folders and select multiple files at once, but folder structure itself isn't preserved — each selected file is imported individually into your media library.
Does Minopa get access to my entire Google Drive?
No. Minopa uses Google's restricted drive.file scope, which only grants access to files you explicitly open or select through the picker, not your whole Drive.
What happens if a file fails to import from Google Drive?
You'll see the failed file's status in the import progress panel and can retry the selection without affecting any files that already imported successfully.
